So I've been here for going on four months now and all is
pipe!
I got a job at
the local grocery store as a barista =) So happy I got a job there, it was the first place I turned in an application and my second choice behind Pike Place. And luckily I'm doing mostly cashier work right now so I have a chance to find a cheap espresso machine and practice at home. M Street is pretty awesome, they don't drug test 'lest yo give 'em reason, payday is weekly, everyone's chill (coworkers and customers alike!), and they have benefits! So everything on the job front is going swimmingly!
And I think we're moving soon! Okay, we haven't
seen the apartment yet, but it sounds perfect, short of a gas stove. It's a large one bedroom (we're currently in a studio), $75 less a month with all utilities included, in an impossibly charming old building with only four apartments on each floor, so they're all corner units. And it has a large kitchen with a dining area! (we like to cook) So I'm crossing my fingers for that, we should be seeing it sometime this week =D
And it's just two blocks away, so I'm still just one block from work!
Other than that I've mostly just been a homebody; crocheting, watching movies, reading, surfing the interwebs...
God I've gotten boring =P
